Nisfu Syaaban falls on the 15th of Syaaban. Nisfu means half. That is 15 in a month.We,Muslims believe on this day,all the practice,good and bad, Pahala and Dosa, will be taken up by the angels,and new sheet will be taken out for the year after.Some Muslims will fast on this day,read the Quran,perform Qiamulail,so that the first thing recorded on the new sheet of practice is a good one.So, that is a very brief introduction for Nisfu Syaaban, which will happen this Saturday.
